Alexandre da Cunha
(1969, Rio de Janeiro, RJ)
Vive e trabalha em Londres.
O artista é um escultor e performer que integra a linguagem de vídeo em sua obra. Abordando os mais diversos temas, incorporou em seus últimos trabalhos humor, materiais e recursos tecnológicos muito simples. Estuda e trabalha desde 1998 em Londres. Mestre em Fine Art no Chelsea College of Art and Design, Londres. Entre as coletivas que esteve presente nos últimos anos estão incluídas, ?The View from Here - New Acquisitions?, Tate Modern, Londres, 2006; 50° Bienal de Veneza, mostra ?The Structure of Survival?, 2003; Bienal de Liverpool, 2002.
